The pack holds only potato. No salt, no masala. So the fat and the salt are yours to choose: ghee and sendha namak, the way most families make them for a fast.

Method
Warm ghee in a kadhai. Test with one chip: when it rises and opens up, the ghee is ready.

Slide in a handful of chips. They open up and turn crunchy fast, so lift them out as soon as they do, then fry the next handful.

Drain them on a plate, sprinkle sendha namak (and kali mirch, if you use it) while they're hot, and serve with the rest of the thali.

Bahut se parivaar vrat mein aloo khaate hain, aur usse bane chips bhi. Har ghar ke niyam alag hote hain, isliye label dekh lijiye: HandCut ke pack mein sirf aloo hai. Namak, masala ya tel nahi.
No. The only ingredient is potato. You add the salt yourself, which is why they work with sendha namak for a fast.
Whichever your family uses during a fast. Ghee is the most common choice. The pack itself suggests sarson, olive or refined oil for everyday frying.
Yes. Toss them with a few drops of ghee, spread them in one layer, air-fry until crisp and add sendha namak. See our air-fryer recipe for the details.
